Lush Birthday Haul

Hello everyone,
A few days ago was my birthday and i thought i would do a post on all the lush goodies that i received, as i did get a lot!
I personally love lush and enjoy reading/watching lush hauls so i thought this would be pretty fun to do!
Out of everything, I've only tried two! that's space girl and dragons egg! So receiving all of these was very exciting.

9 bath bombs & 4 bubble bars.

Space Girl:

"A space-dust filled bath bomb with a sweet and fruity fragrance. If you feel as though your head is in the clouds or you’re feeling sluggish, Space Girl gets you centred again with its blend of fruity essential oils."
Personally, this is my favourite scent. That's why my dad got me two!

Butterball:
"This moisturising bath bomb with cocoa butter and a light vanilla and musk fragrance will replenish thirsty skin."

This one does look quite boring but i promise you, it smells AMAZING!

Sex Bomb:
"When you’ve got that feeling tired, stressed out and anxious you need some sensual healing. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you relaxed and feeling in the mood..."
I'm not 100% keen on this smell but its still likeable!

Amandopondo:
"A simple rose and lemon fragranced bubble bar for extra-bubbly baths. When you need life to bring you flowers, this heady rose scent combined with stimulating lemon is the perfect thing to pick you up. This is a romantic, relaxing bath to take you away from it all. Relaxing, heady rose is combined with uplifting lemon. It goes really well with Turkish Delight shower smoothie, which has a similar fragrance."
Big Blue:
"This calming bath bomb evokes a summer’s day at the seaside: perfect for drifting off.Your cares are soaked away with this bath bomb filled with relaxing and nutritious ingredients that bring to mind the Mediterranean: citrus groves, lavender, and a hint of seaweed."
I tried this bath bomb on my birthday night and i've never felt so relaxed. It smells incredible and the bath water was an amazing bright blue, what could be better? I will hopefully repurchase this next when i get the chance. :)
Avobath:

"A bright green citrus bath bomb to cheer the spirits and feed thirsty skin.Avobath in the morning to help you face the day: its lemongrass and bergamot oils will pick you up while also tackling dryness with avocado and olive oil. It contains lustre, which gives a shimmering green effect to the water, but will leave your skin feeling dazzling without the dazzle."

This bomb i could literally smell all day. It smells really citrusy and delicious! It smells like the Soap & glory sugar crush!

Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds:

"A double-sized bubble bar scented with exotic oils for ambient, relaxing bathtimes.
When you need to get away from it all, this bubble bar will help you float off. Patchouli and frankincense give it an exotic, hypnotic fragrance that helps you relax."

Rose Jam:
"A hugely popular indulgent bubble bar with a fruity rose scent to lift your spirits and feed your skin.Pep your spirits with a bath filled with Rose Jam: lemon, rose and geranium oil will help perk you up, while coconut oil and shea butter leave you stepping out of the bath feeling gorgeous. You’ll end up feeling as cheered as if you'd been given a bunch of flowers."

A French Kiss:
"An extra-bubbly bar with the heady and skin-drenching qualities of lavender.Escape to the lavender fields of Southern France and nourish dehydrated skin. Lavender is the key ingredient, so perfect for an evening bath to help you have a good night’s sleep."

Twilight:

"A colour-changing layered bath bomb with a soporific lavender and malt fragrance.
If sleep is evading you, or your mind needs some help shutting off, the sleep-inducing combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night’s sleep."
Dragons Egg:

"A spectacular bath bomb that’s a treat for all the senses as it fizzes and dissolves in the water.
The ultimate lift: Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting again as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day."
Rose Queen:
"A playful rose-scented bath bomb filled with pretty flowers that cheers the soul.Whenever you need a little lift, indulge in a Rose Queen bath. Its light, floral fragrance and effect on your bathwater will help you escape to the country, while rose absolute quenches thirsty skin."

So there's all my bath bombs/bars that i got for my 17th birthday! i was ever so grateful and happy. I wasn't at all expecting these through the post so that completely made my day! :)
Every single one smells lovely and i'm so excited to try them all out!

Have you tried any of these? which ones are your favourite?

Lipsticks.

Hi all!

Today i am back with another post. This is my 5th post this month, crazy right! Anyway, i thought i would do a post on all my lipsticks. I had an idea recently that i would start doing posts on parts of my makeup collection. i.e this month i would do a post on my lipsticks then next month my blushers and etc.
I'm not a huge lipstick wearer but i do love lipsticks. Does that even make sense? haha. Basically, i do absolutely love lipstick but i don't see the need in wearing it to college and the days i'm not at college i forget to wear it. I want to start wearing lipstick regular again as summer 2013 i used to always wear it but since it's become very cold i stopped. The day that i finish education and have a full time job then, i might start actually wearing lipsticks on a daily basis. Or maybe i'll start remembering and wear it when i don't have college...

High Street/Drugstore Makeup Wishlist.

Hello!

Today's post i thought i'd do my drugstore makeup wishlist. Back in August i done my High end makeup wish list and i only thought it would be right if i done the drugstore version.
So, lets get to it..
Can i just say first, all of these products i want to try because they're highly raved about in the beauty blogging and YouTube world. I thought i'd say that now so i won't bore you by repeating myself in every comment! haha.. :)

1. The first on my list is the Sleek Eyebrow kit. I'm a huge lover of eyebrow kits, I've tried the MUA one and the elf one and love both. I much prefer kits to eyebrow pencils so i know i wouldn't be disappointed with this. I first heard from this from Sammi on YouTube and her eyebrows literally looked perfect after using this. One day i will eventually buy it but probably not just yet. The only thing is that the eyebrow kits that I've already tried are cheap. This product is more pricey compared to the ones that i already own, so is there any point in buying something more expensive that basically does the same thing?
Sleek Eyebrow kit- Superdrug-£8.49

2. Next on my list is the L'Oreal Paris true match foundation. I mainly want to try this out because of the colour range. I'm very pale and it's so very difficult to find a foundation that can match my skin tone in the drugstore, and i don't particularly want to spend a lot of money on a high end foundation. So, when i first heard of this amazing colour range i was automatically intrigued. The reason i haven't bought this foundation yet is because of the price. It's quite expensive considering it's only drugstore. Also, i only really purchase foundations where they're on offer and i haven't seen this on offer yet. Also, there's SO many rumours that this brand tests on animals. I don't want to buy a brand that tests on animals, so i will have to wait until i 100% know if Lo'real Paris tests on animals. If you defiantly do know, please let me know!
L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation- Boots- £9.99

3. Next on this wishlist is the Revlon colorburst lip butters. Not just a specific shade but any shade. I really want to try these but the only thing putting me off is the price. (As you probably would of guessed, i'm a huge cheapskate. haha.) I'm not a huge lipstick/gloss/tint wearer but i really do want to try these as they do look amazing and i do want to get back into wearing lip colours. There's not much else to say apart from that i will eventually treat myself to one.
 Revlon lip butters- superdrug/boots- £7.99

4. Next on this wonderful wishful list is a Soap & glory makeup item. It's the eyeshadow quad in the shade 'what's nude' It just looks like the perfect little neutral palette for on the go. I only ever wear neutral shades for my eyes and this seems perfect on what i would wear. I also was intrigued by this product as it's quite small so that means it's handy to travel with. When i'm travelling down to my family i don't like to take big palettes or makeup items for obvious reasons so this palette would be perfect for that. I first was intrigued by this item from Brogan from Youtube and ever since she bought it i wanted it. Also recently my friend Sophie bought this and she raves about it so i guess i need to buy it now? I'm not too sure why i haven't treated myself to it but i will have to pop into boots soon and get it.
Soap & glory eyeshadow quad 'what's nude'- boots- £10

5. The next item is a mascara. As I've previously mentioned in a post, i don't like spending money on mascaras as 8/10 i'm disappointed. I've wanted to try this mascara out for the longest time and hopefully i'll soon treat myself to it but not just yet. It's quite expensive really considering it's drugstore. Again, it's by L'Oreal so i'm not too sure to buy because the brand may test on animals.
L'Oreal Volume million lashes mascara- superdrug/boots- £10.99

6.Number six is the MUA Undress me too eyeshadow palette. The only reason i haven't bought this yet is because every single time i go into Superdrug it's sold out or used or they don't stock it. Which is highly frustrating because i really want it. It's a dupe of the 2nd naked palette but a fraction of the price. I really want the 2nd Naked palette but i'd rather purchase this MUA palette as it's only £4. Which is INCREDIBLE valuable considering you get 12 colours which are all pigmented.
MUA Undress me too palette- Superdrug-£4

7. Next is another MUA product. This is the highlighter that they do. It seems so pretty and would be gorgeous for the summery season. I'm not too sure why i haven't bought this yet. Next time i'm in Superdrug i'll defiantly pick it up. I'm not a huge highlighter wearer in Winter but, in summer i am. I can see myself wearing this a lot in summer. Basically, i need this in my life and it shall be soooon.
MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder- Superdrug- £3

8. Ok, this product i really want to try but i'm kinda scared to use it.. It would be a dupe to the Chanel bronze universel which intrigued me as i've always wanted to give that a whirl. This product seems quite scary as i've never used a cream bronzer before. I won't know if i like cream bronzers unless i give it a go, right? I haven't been craving this for that long but i thought i'd still mention it as maybe Summer time i'll eventually try it out. Maybe.
Bourjois Bronzer Range Primer Bronzer- Superdrug/boots- £9.99

9. Number 9 is a powder. This powder i was intrigued by because it's a finely milled powder which means it wouldn't stick to dry patches and wouldn't look too heavy. I first heard about this when Rosanna talked about it in one of her videos. As i have very dry skin i don't like using too much powder as i don't like it when it sticks to my dry patches, not a good look is it? I normally go for the Rimmel powder which is cheap and cheerful at only £3.99 so if i did eventually get the Revlon powder it would be a dramatic difference when paying as, it's much more expensive. It should be worth the extra few pounds but i'll soon see.
Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed powder-Boots- £7.99

10. Lastly number 10. The last product on my Drugstore wishlist is a concealer by Soap and glory. This is a three piece concealer set that comes with; an undereye brightening concealer, an 'on the spot' concealer and a transparent setting powder. The whole idea of having three products in one interests me. It's sort of like the Bobbi brown concealer kit, which also interests me but obviously this Soap & glory one is a lot cheaper.  I don't use pan concealers so i really want to see what the hype is about. I only ever use the Collection Lasting perfection concealer so i'm eager to try something different. I've also heard that this concealer kit doesn't last very long which is a down side. Let's see if i'll soon have this in my collection.
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer, Three piece camouflage Kit- Boots- £10

And that's it! Obviously there's so much makeup in the world that i'm craving to try but these are my top 10 (not in order). So here's my High street/ Drugstore makeup wishlist! Let me know if you've tried any of these products and your opinions as i'm very interested to know!

Thankyou for reading.

Sally

My New, New Years Resolutions.

Hello all!
You may be thinking 'Why do a new years resolutions post in February??' Well. My answer to that is simple. In January i made a few resolutions but i didn't really care about them, i just made them for the sake for it. A few days ago (6th Feb) I felt more motivated about life changes and i wanted to make some new and different new years resolutions and actually take an interest, work on them and take them serious to ''change'' my life. Ok, now, these resolutions aren't too life changing or too serious but i still want to follow them and achieve them so at the end of the year i can finally say 'i did it' and i can be proud of myself. I haven't made them unrealistic so then they're actually achievable so there will be no excuse not to follow them.
As i just said, a few days ago i felt more motivated about changes in my life. I got the motivation from my mum, my dad and my lovely friend Sophie. Each person motivated me to do something completely different. My mum, Lifestyle. My dad, Work. and my friend Sophie, Blogging & Youtube.

Become healthier & happier
Now. you may be thinking 'Well, everybody says that and it never happens' that may be true but, i can tell you something. I'm very insecure about how i look, a couple years ago i weighed 7 & half stone. Which was healthy for me considering i'm only 5ft2. Now i weigh 9 stone. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with weighing 9 stone. But, for me, I don't like it. As before i weighed a healthy weight of 7 & half stone. I'm not saying i want to get back to 7 & half stone, i'm actually aiming for 8 stone. I just want to feel and look more fit and be confident with how i look. In summer, i never did show my legs or arms because i hated how fat they looked. This year i want to change that, not just to lose weight there but to feel more confident with my legs and arms. I know this will be hard considering I've felt so insecure about my legs and arms in the past but, i want to get past that and be happy with how i look.
By saying to become healthier, that just doesn't mean lose weight as that's just not my aim. I also want to enjoy eating fruit and vegetables again, and enjoy having a healthy balanced diet and of course, exercise.
I am very determined that this year i WILL get healthier. I understand that i might not reach my goal weight but i want to reach the goal of being confident, happier and healthier.

♥Get work experience
I'm currently studying Animal care & Management, and i'm studying this because i want a career in working with animals. As the animal jobs out there are small and popular there isn't going to be a lot of work. So my goal and aim is to get a lot of work experience within different animal related works or charities so it will look good for when i eventually look and apply for an animal working job for my future career. I'm planning on volunteering at different animal charity shops such as, RSPCA, Animal ambulance, Blue cross etc. I want to get a lot of experience because not only so it will look good on my CV but so it will give me something to do and so i can say that i helped and also, the more experience i get the better it will be for my benefit of getting practice. There's also some pet shops that i'm looking in to, to volunteer. Obviously, if there's a paying job going i will apply but i will be more then happy to volunteer. By the end of the year i want to say that i have worked and volunteer in a lot of different animal related charity shops and pet shops. The first step is actually being motivated and going for it, that step will be the hardest. But once i've done it i will be very happy and proud with myself.

♥Start blogging more
On the 25th August i made this blog because i was certain i would start blogging about everything beauty related. I was certain i would post at least once a week. Since the 25th August I've only made 10 posts. That's quite disappointing considering my aim was 1 post per week. This time round my aim and goal won't be so high and unrealistic, my aim is to post at least twice per month. For me, that's more realistic. Hopefully i will post more then twice a month but if i say my goal is only 2 then it's more likely to happen. So far this is my 3rd post in February, so i've started well. Let's see if i'll still be saying that come January 2015. I really want to achieve this goal as i really love to blog.
It was actually down to my friend Sophie (Here blog is HERE) that made me become more motivated about my blog. She posts quite regular and is actually excited and motivated about her blog, i wanted to be like that. I've told her to remind me to post so i won't ''forget'' haha. But this time around i do feel a lot more happy and confident about this blog. Hopefully at the end of the year i can finally say 'i done it, i'm proud, i made the effort and i achieved something big and important to me'

♥Start making YouTube videos
And finally my last resolution is to start making YouTube videos. When it comes to posting YouTube videos i have a love and hate relationship. I have actually previously posted 4 videos, two of them got deleted and the other two are on private. One day i'm happy and confident about making videos so i film, edit & upload then, two days later i feel the complete opposite and put them on private. I really want to get out of that habit. I really want to make YouTube videos and love it. My main reason for feeling negative about my videos is the audience for watching them, but that i mean, i'm scared if anyone i know finds them and laughs. Sounds so stupid, right? Why should i care about what people think of me? This is my life and i should do what i want without caring about other peoples opinions. I've tried so hard to get past this but no matter how hard i try i still always end up falling back down. Hopefully i will overcome this silly fear and do what i want. Maybe i will achieve this goal come 2015, maybe i won't. Hopefully i will. and when i do, i will be so very happy and pleased with myself. I do think this goal is quite realistic as i have made videos. It's just building that little extra bit of confidence and learning to stop caring about other peoples opinions. One day i will do it.

So those four are my new, new years resolutions. Hopefully In January 2015 i can look back at this post and say that i achieved something and be proud of myself. It's not going to be easy, i know. I wanted to make a post on these as evidence for me to look back on so i won't forget, so i will remember my goals and so i will stick to them.

I'm sorry this isn't exactly a beauty post, as in my introduction said I'd only be posting beauty related things, but i really wanted to make this post on here. I may even start making lifestyle posts now? i'm not too sure.. :)
Let me know what your new years resolutions are and if you've failed any so far (like i did before)

Thankyou for reading,

Love,

Sally

Everyday College Makeup Look

Morning all!
Today i am coming back with another post. I thought i would show you my everyday standard makeup routine, on a college day. I say on a college day specifically because i don't wear too much makeup to college. I thought this would be interesting as it's honest to what i actually wear on a daily basis.
Hope you enjoy :)

Foundation- Every single day to college i have to wear foundation. My skin isn't the greatest so i feel so much better and confident when i wear foundation. I never leave the house without foundation on, which is quite bad to be honest, isn't it? I do tend to change up my foundations but at the moment i've been loving the combination of MAC studio fix fluid and Bourjois healthy mix foundation. I don't like these foundations separately like i mentioned in my previous post, but together, they're a dream.

Concealer- As i just said, i don't have great skin and that usually means spots. At the moment i'm suffering with acne (it has gone down loads!) So for me, it's absolutely essential to wear concealer. Concealer is a huge life saver and i wouldn't leave the house without it on. I use the Collection ultimate perfection concealer for my spots and the Rimmel wake me up for my under eyes.

Eyebrows- On a daily basis it's essential for my brows to be filled in. Eyebrows are one of them things that can rather make or break your face. Once filled in, they absolutely make my face complete. Every girl should fill in her eyebrows if they're looking a bit sparse. I use the MUA eyebrow kit. Check out my 'Current Makeup Favourites' post that was posted 23/12/13. I say a mini review on that eyebrow kit there.

Mascara- As for every girl that wears makeup, mascara is essential. I would never and have never left the house without mascara on, even though i hate applying mascara, i have to wear it. I'm currently using the Maybelline falsies which is the best mascara that i have ever tried. It's simply amazing.

Powder- I use powder daily for obvious reasons. To set my makeup all in place. There's not much to say about powder as it just does its job but it would require top ups throughout the day, as you could imagine. I use the Rimmel Stay Matt powder.

Blusher- If i have time on a college day morning, i would use a blush. I would go for a blush that doesn't require much work and is easy to use. EG: MUA mosaic blush or the Soap & glory pink pop blush. I don't see blusher as an essential, i'd be happy enough to leave the house without it on but, obviously, if i have time i will apply it.

Lip products- As for lip products, i don't wear lip glosses or lipsticks daily. but i do wear a lip balm, and i do tend to carry a lip balm around with me all day. I do usually take the Soap & glory gloss stick as it's very easy to use and is subtle for everyday use. but if i forget, i wouldn't care.

And that's it! that's my standard makeup routine for college days. I don't tend to use eye shadows, bronzer, highlighter, eyeliner, lipsticks or contouring powder for college. Mainly because i don't see the need but because i don't have that long in the mornings. On my days off if i'm out shopping i will go all out with makeup or, if i'm going out for the evening or if it's a special occasion i will then also go all out on makeup.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and let me know what your essential makeup products are. :)

Thankyou for reading!
Love,
Sally

January Favourites 2014

Hello!
I hope you all had a great January even though the weather has been awful, well, in England anyway..

Today's post i thought i'd come back with a January favourites. I haven't been posting much on here but i defiantly think that my favourite posts to write and read are monthly favourites. SO i thought it would be perfect to do so.
And sorry this is late going up.. better late then never i suppose.

Let's get started....

Boots- £10
1) My first favourite that i'm going to talk about is the Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Moisture Lotion. This stuff is literally amazing. It doesn't only just do it's job by moisturizing your skin but it smells amazing to. Which is an obvious bonus. It's not as thick as the body butter which means it's good to use in the mornings as it takes no time at all sink in. I find that the smell lingers on your skin throughout the whole day which is incredible. When i use this product my skin feels so luxurious and i feel like i've used a very expensive product. The great thing about this is that it's a drugstore product which means it's cheap and easy to find. So, when i run out i WILL be replacing it.

Boots- £8
                                                                                      2) The next product is another Soap and Glory product. It's the 'Peaches and Clean 3 in 1 Wash Off deep purifying cleanser' I've used this facial cleanser before and i loved it. I knew i would love this product again, it's just incredible. I could use this cleanser after a makeup wipe to help get rid of any remaining makeup OR i can use this on a full face of makeup. I love it either way. It leaves my face feeling really soft and clean. I have quite sensitive skin so i have to be careful with what products i use, but i have no problems with this. It does it's job and does it amazingly. Also, it smells amazing. Which you probably would of guessed.

Boots-
200ml= £2.99

3) Next on my list is another facial product. This is the Simple Facial Toner. As i said previously, my skin is sensitive so i have to be careful of what skin products i use. This toner by simple does my skin nicely. After i've cleansed, i use this toner all over my face and it leaves my face feeling even more refreshed. This also picks up any other traces of makeup. I've tried many toners in the past but this is the best toner that i've found and tried. I really like it.
Mine is only a mini but i will repurchase the full 200ml bottle

Stella McCartney Eau de parfum Natural
spray 30ml.
Boots- £34.50
4) Stepping away from skin care, my next favourite is a perfume. This perfume I've had over a year so this isn't anything new. But all of December and January I've found myself reaching towards this perfume more then any other perfume! I can't describe scents so i won't try.. but i do think this defiantly deserves a smell, when ever you're next near a perfume store, go and smell it!
It's a small bottle so it's easy to travel around with you, and i like the design of it which, for me, is important. As i display all my perfume bottles i want them to look nice.
Many people describe this as an 'evening scent'. I guess that is true. But on cold winter mornings i'd wear this. but in Sunny summer mornings, i wouldn't. I'd just describe this as a cold weather perfume.. is that weird labelling perfumes as seasons? ...oh well. haha.
Basically, just give this perfume a good old sniff and see for yourself.

Boots-
Full price= £6.99
5) Now moving onto makeup. The first makeup item is a primer. This is the Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Pro primer. I'm a huge lover of primers, i have tried my fair few. This primer i have tried before and i completely loved it. I always repurchased it and i couldn't live without it. For some reason, one day, i never repurchased it. I forgot about it. Come January sales, i saw this for £5 in boots and i picked it up. The next morning i tried it and fell instantly back in love. I really don't understand why i stopped buying this primer. It's simply amazing. It makes my foundation go on so smooth and does actually help keep my makeup on for longer. It's really creamy and sinks in lovely. I don't have anything negative about this primer. I just absolutely love it.
I will never have to pay full price for this as it's always on offer in boots.

Debenhams- £20
(varies different places)
6) Next is the Elizabeth Arden Lip Protectant Stick. I got this in a gift set for Christmas and i've used this every single day since Christmas. It's not like a regular lip balm. It's so much better then Vaseline, carmex, nivea etc. I leaves my lips feeling amazingly soft and smooth. I suffer with dry lips especially in winter and this little lip product really has helped loads to fight my dry lips. It's incredible and i'll honestly be lost without it.

Boots- £5.49
7)Going back to drugstore, My next item is the Wake Me Up Rimmel concealer. I've wanted to try this concealer for the longest time. I finally made a order to boots and ordered this in the beginning of January. This concealer isn't good for covering up spots however it's lovely for covering up redness and darkness under my eyes. The name is correct and it truly does wake up my eyes. I don't suffer with darkness under my eyes but when i use this under my eyes i instantly see the difference. It blends good and lasts a very long time. It doesn't crease nor feel heavy. It's perfect.
Mine is in the shade Ivory.

Boots- £8
8) My next favourite of January is the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick by Soap & Glory, in the shade 'nudist'
This lip product is so easy to use, and by that i mean, in the mornings i can quickly apply this without having to concentrate to blend it in or neatly put it on the lips. It's not sticky and is a subtle pinky colour which doesn't look too bright or too nude.
Check out my previous post for a swatch. :)

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express 'Black drama'
Boots- £7.99
9) I'm not a huge mascara buyer or lover. I never like to spend money on mascara as 8/10 i'm disappointed. This mascara i bought on wim because i had xmas money and i fancied a change. I really wish i tried this sooner! It's the best mascara that i've ever tried! No wonder why so many people rave about it.. It really lengths and adds volume to my lashes. I LOVE it.

L: Boots- £9.99
R: MAC- £21.50
10) Next is a combination favourite. I really love these two foundations mixed together. I have the Bourjois healthy mix foundation with the MAC studio fix fluid. The bourjois foundation on it's own doesn't last long at all but when it's mixed it lasts much more longer and when the MAC foundation is on its own i find it a bit drying for my skin but mixed together it becomes more dewy and not at all drying. Both of these blend well together and blend nicely into the skin. The overall coverage of both of them is Medium to high. I just find these foundations were made for each other. I don't particularly love these as individuals but i adore them together.
Bourjois= shade 51. Light vanilla.
MAC= NC15

Within the month of January, i have really been enjoying using a beauty blender for my foundation. I find that a beauty blender, blends my foundation into my skins so much nicer then a brush. I have dry skin so i prefer to have dewy looking skin and this beauty blender really helps pull off the dewy look. It's so easy and quick when it comes to applying my foundation, which i like. You don't have to spend ages trying to make sure everything is blended as this amazing little sponge does it so quick. I really don't understand how one sponge can be so amazing. There's so many brands out there of beauty blenders, i've tried the cosmopolitan sponge which is basically the same to this one, but a fraction of the price. (Here's the best part) This sponge only costs £2 from ebay. I've also found a seller that sells them for 99p, which is incredible value. AMAZING. Absolutely in love.

And that's it! I just showed you 11 products that i have been absolutely loving in the month of January. I hope you enjoyed and if you have some of the same favourites then comment it down below, i'd love to know :) I'll make another post shortly. (i won't leave a massive gap this time, i promise!)
