What Beauty Products I Got For Christmas

Hello everyone & Merry Christmas!
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas, ate lots and enjoyed giving & receiving presents!
Today's post i'm going to show you the some of the beauty related gifts i received.

Obviously, this won't be a review on the products, it's simply showing you the products.
Hope you enjoy!

1) The first thing is probably my favourite present. It's the Laura Ashley Ultimate Indulgence set. The purple products are Wild Blossom and the blue products are Imperial Bloom.
I
t comes with: (left to right)
Body wash, body lotion, body polisher, A nail file, bath soak, fragrance mist, body butter and a hand & nail cream.
I've only tried the fragrance mist and the hand cream so far and both smell amazing. The hand cream quickly soaks up and leaves your hands feeling soft and moisturised.
ALL the products smell AMAZING. I'm not sure if i prefer the 'wild blossom' scent or the 'imperial bloom' scent but i know they both smell incredibly gorgeous and i can't wait to try out all the products.

2) The next present is the 'Girl-o-whirl' set by Soap & glory. This present i was very happy to receive because i absolutely LOVE soap & glory products, and because i haven't tried many of their makeup range i was excited to find out that i received this.
The only down side to this is, you can't take out the products. The eye shadows, blushes and lip glosses have to stay in the case unfortunately. I would of rather if each of them had its own packaging so i could put it away into my makeup draws but never mind. But this set also does come with a mascara and a gloss stick. The mascara i have tried before and i do like it but i've never tried the gloss stick, until now. It's incredible. It's actually one of the nicest lip products that i have tried for a while. It's so moisturising and glossy. which i love. I don't normally go for lip glosses as i find them sticky, but this isn't at all sticky. It just glides onto the lips easily and looks gorgeous. It gives a hint of a colour, nothing too pigmented but i do like the colour it gives off. I have yet to try the eyeshadows, blushes and lip glosses and i'm very excited to try them!

3) My next present is a Ted Baker set. It's called 'The Great and Gorgeous' This set contains 4 beautiful pink brushes, a black felt tip eyeliner, a pair of eyelashes, 2 nail polishes, 2 face illuminators, 2 lip crayons, A glitter shadow, a cream eye shadow and finally, my favourite, a beautiful blusher.
I haven't tried any of these products but i'm most excited to try the blusher. I have previously tried the lip crayons as i received them last year, but they're amazing so i wasn't disappointed when i saw they were in this set.
In the pictures below, can we just take a moment to appreciate how GORGEOUS and BEAUTIFUL the blusher is. It's incredible. I haven't tried it yet because i don't want to ruin the beautiful design, but when i do try it out, i bet it'll be insane. The packaging for it is also beautiful. It's a rose gold hard shiny case. It looks very expensive so i'm hoping it wont disappoint when i eventually try it out.

Left- the glitter shadow & lip crayons swatched.

4) The next present that i'm going to show you is bubble bath by champneys. I'm a huge bath person and this Christmas i specifically asked for bubble bath so i was over the moon when i unwrapped these! All three smell incredible. My favourite is the red tub but the other two do also smell divine. I haven't tried these out yet but i'm looking to!

5) The 5th present i'm going to tell you about is a brand that i've never tried before. I received the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Winter Essentials Kit. I've wanted to try out the Eight Hour skin protectant cream for the longest time and this little kit includes it! It also includes the intensive moisturizing hand treatment and the Lip protectant stick. I've only tried the lip protectant stick and it's amazing. I can't describe how amazing it is, but it is. The hand treatment and the skin protectant are miniatures at 30ml and the lip protectant is 3.7g. I was so very grateful to receive this as i know Elizabeth Arden isn't cheap.

6) The final pressie i'm going to show you is the 17 complete collection. This i was very happy to get as last year i missed out as they sold out everywhere. This set comes with so much!
5 lip glosses, 12 eyeshadows, 1 bronzer, 1 blusher, 5 brushes, 1 mascara, 1 pencil eyeliner, 1 gel eyeliner, 1 lip liner, 1 metallic cream (used on eyes, cheeks or lips), 1 face primer, 1 sharpener and 1 eyelash curler.
I've tried 3 of the eyeshadows (well pigmented & easy blending) I've also tried the primer, which is amazing! The most exciting thing for me was the face primer and i do love it. It kept my foundation on all day during christmas and my face felt so smooth. All the brushes feel so soft and i'm very excited to try them out. As for everything else, i haven't yet tried but i am eager to try out everything and hopefully something will appear in my January Favourites!

And that's it! I was so very grateful with everything i received and i felt very spoilt and lucky!
Thankyou for reading!

Current Makeup Favourites

Hello,
I haven't written a post in absolutely ages and i felt like i should. so, today i'm going to write about my 'current makeup faves'
To be completely honest, i haven't been wearing much makeup lately. I think it's because i have to catch my college bus at 7:50 every morning and because i'm lazy and love to sleep, i don't get up in time to do a full face of makeup. I think i'd rather lay in bed for an extra 40 minutes. haha, is that bad? oh well.
But the makeup i have been wearing i have been loving so i thought i'd share.

The first item, is the bourjois bronzer in the shade '51' which is the lightest.
If i have time in the mornings i'd quickly brush this over my cheek bones to give my face a bit of colour.
This product isn't highly pigmented but that's a good thing for me.

The next item is my eyebrow kit. It's by MUA and it only comes in one shade.
As you can tell, i use the light brown powder (top right) and the wax (bottom right)
Sorry it looks a disgusting mess but i do use it everyday..
Anyway, the powder is the perfect shade for my brows and the wax helps keep the powder on for longer. The kit did come with a mini angled brush and tweezers but i don't use them. For value, this kit is completely worth it and i'd defiantly replace when needs to be.

Finally the last item is a mascara. By Maybelline 'colossal' in black. This mascara i actually bought months ago and i never liked it. I found the formula too wet and i felt like it didn't do anything for my lashes. It's not until recently i went through my makeup collection and found this. I tried it out on a wim and loved it. I think i love it now because it's not as wet anymore meaning it clings on my lashes well and doesn't smudge like it used to. I don't think i'll repurchase this as it'll be silly to spend £8 on a mascara but then wait months for it to dry out, In future i just won't go for very wet formulated mascaras. But even so, i did love using this this month and i was very happy with the results.

September Makeup Favourites

Hello!
So basically it's coming to the end of another month so i thought i'd make a post on my September makeup favourites.
I always mix up my makeup items so i thought this would be interesting as the products would usually be different, but as for skin/body/hair care i normally use the same things over and over again so i haven't included any of that in this post but i will for sure in the future!
Hope you enjoy! xxx

They're real mascara by benefit

1) This first product i've been using for 7 weeks. That time has gone soo quickly! but anyway, i first used this mascara for the first time on the 12th August and to be honest i wasn't impressed. I expected a lot from this mascara as its highly raved about on blogs and YouTube.  But i continued to use it and i can say i'm really enjoying it now. I think its probably because the mascara has dried out a bit and the formula isn't as wet anymore. This mascara does my lashes wonders! it doesn't clump a lot (but you have to be careful otherwise it will!) It really brings volume to my lashes and lifts them, which makes my eyes stand out. I'm not one to buy and spend a lot of money on mascara as i hate to spend money and then be disappointed with it but i think this mascara i must repurchase. i did buy this mini version in a magazine but i will eventually buy the full size (or ask for it for Christmas!)

Bourjois paris bronzer in '51'
MUA blush in 'English rose'

2) My next favourite is a combination. The bronzer i apply first and then i apply the blush further down onto my cheek then blend it upwards to blend into the bronzer. I think they both compliment each other lovely. Both products are quite sheer but its fine because that means i don't have to spend ages blending them out. I've been finding that i've been using both of these most days as it doesn't take much effort at all. It's quick, simple and easy for the mornings when i don't have long to get ready for college. Both products are cheap too which is a bonus!

Rimmel Stay Matt powder. '003 soft beige'

3) My next favourite is a powder. This powder is amazing. As you can tell from the picture this powder is sadly coming to an end, but not to worry, it's only £3.99!
Recently my skin has been crazy, starts of dry in the mornings (which is normal) but throughout the day it goes really oily, which is very strange for me because i've never experience oily skin. So this powder has been a life saver this month! honestly it's amazing!

Mac Paint pot in 'painterly'
Revlon satin solo eyeshadow in 'nude slip'

4) Next & last on my favourites list is two eye products. On the left is a Mac paint pot in 'painterly' i use this paint point every single day without fail (well on days that i wear eyeshadows which normally is everyday!) and it's such a perfect base for any shadow and you can wear it on its own but i prefer to wear it like a eye primer as it really does help keep your eyeshadow on all day. I do my makeup about 7am and it still looks perfect about when i take my makeup off, around 7pm. The paint pot is expensive at £14 but i totally think it's worth it. I will continue to use this product and i will 100% repurchase when i need to, but saying that, i've had this paint pot for almost 2 years! so it has lasted ages and still has loads left!!
On the right is a solo eyeshadow by Revlon It's basically a really shimmery nude. It looks absolutely gorgeous in the crease of my eyelids. I've been reaching more to this during this month for some reason.. i just think it's easy to use and looks so pretty on the eyes!

New Makeup | Superdrug haul

Hello!
I've recently bought some new makeup from superdrug and i thought i'd share.

I picked up the NYC Big Bold Bronzing Powder. I didn't really plan to buy this, i just saw this and i immediately picked it up as it was only £2.99! and it was the last one so i had to have it.. it would of been rude to just leave it, right?
I got it in the shade '601 Manha Tan' as it was the palest one & it looked perfect for my complexion.  I personally love the packaging, it looks a good price and not cheap at all, and the actual product is massive! Which is good as it will last a very long time. :)

It looks quite shimmery but its a nice shimmer. It's not a thick shimmer that would look horrible on the skin, its a nice subtle shimmer that compliments my skin tone very well.

Overall, i'm pleased with this product and i'm glad i bought it. Obviously, in the future my opinion may change but my first impression is that i really like this bronzer and i'm very happy with it.

I also picked up a new foundation. I picked up the MUA Undress Your Skin foundation. I've wanted to buy this ever since Mikhila (Miss Budget Beauty) went on about this. She said it was amazing and i trust her opinion so i bought it. And the best part is, it's only £5! I got the shade 'porcelain' which is the lightest shade. i'm not a huge fan of the packaging but for £5 i can't complain.
Loads of these foundation were opened (which sucks!) so i was so very pleased to find one that was still sealed..
This foundation blended well and i know it looks very pale on my hand but it suits my face well.
For £5 i'm very impressed and i'm hoping i will continue to be impressed by this foundation.

The next thing i bought is a Rimmel lipstick by Kate Moss (she should be very proud of her lipsticks!) I bought the shade '101' which is a lovely natural pink. These lipsticks are so very creamy and last a very long time. It was on offer for £3.99 down from £5.49! So again, it would of been rude to ignore...

The first swatch is a few strokes of the lipstick, so this lipstick can build to a lovely opaque pink colour. The second swatch is one stroke and it's not sheer, it still holds a nice colour.
The lipstick is nice and glossy and looks very pretty on the lips!

I only picked up three items but i was pleased with what i bought. All the items were cheap and i'm so happy with all of them.
I hope you enjoyed reading this!
Thankyou!!

High End Makeup Wish List!

Hello!
So, i'm a jobless 16 year old. Which means that i can't afford the 'high end' makeup.

There's so much expensive makeup out there that i'm craving so, i thought i'd do a post on my top 10 most wanted high end makeup products. In other words, 'My High End Makeup Wish List'. haha. hope you enjoy :)

1. The first item is the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I've wanted this since it came out, and i was SO very close to buying it when it was on offer at Debenhams during christmas time. (i really wish i did!) This palette would be perfect for me to carry around in my bag, and i can also use one of the shades for my eyebrows. I like the idea of this palette so much as it has such basic colours that you can really work with to create a basic BUT gorgeous eye. And i am really one for matt eyeshadows, i do like shimmer but most of the time i do just like to use matt only as i think it has a more dramatic effect in some cases.
This retails for £20.00 (At debenhams)

2.The next item is Nars Sheer Glow foundation. This foundation is highly craved about on YouTube and by it being so loved by many of my favourite youtubers (Zoella, BeautyCrush etc) it really makes me want this foundation so i can try it and i can see what all the hype is about and also being i'd LOVE to own Zoella's favourite foundation (as sad as that sounds haha.)
And to be honest, i'm not much of a huge foundation buyer as i hate to buy something and not like it, but for this foundation i'm literally craving it as it seems so amazing by so many YouTubes, and i do trust what these YouTubers are saying! so i know i won't  be disappointed (and if i am, i will be very very annoyed. haha)
This retails for £30.50 (Nars official website)

3.Number 3 on my list is the ever so loved and hyped up about, Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I'm going to be honest with you, i really want this palette because literally everyone on youtube owns it. And i really want to be part of the love share for this product! i really love eyeshadows, and this palette looks perfect and i'm incredibly jealous by anybody that has it. I know MUA do a dupe for this, but i want the real thing (haha. i do have the dupe for naked 1 palette though.) I really want to be able to experiment with all them lovely colours and create different eye looks from day to day.
This retails for £39.00 (Debenhams)

4.The next thing is the Hoola bronzer by Benefit. There's not much to say about this one to be honest. I just really want to have the hoola bronzer. People i know love it and recommend and i want to try it out.
This retails for £23.50 (Debenhams)

5.Number 5. This is the Deep Throat/Laguna Blush- Bronzer Duo by nars. What can i say about this? (apart from the disgusting name haha) but again, this is HIGHLY hyped up about. I really want to try this because i think the colour 'Deep Throat' is a perfect colour for my complexion and i really would love to try the Laguna bronzer, mainly because i'm experimenting with many different bronzers atm and i'd love to compare that bronzer to my cheaper, drugstore ones. But this bronzer is highly craved about and i want to take on board of what i've been missing.
This retails for £30.00 (Nars official website)

6. The 6th product is the studio finish SPF 35 concealer. I've basically wanted this concealer for the longest time ever. I've tried it out at MAC and it's so creamy, lightweight, blends well and covers well. I'm not too sure of why i haven't bought it yet but i know for sure that i will purchase this very soon. I really need to step out of my concealer comfort zone as the only concealer i use and repurchase is the collection ultimate wear concealer so i need to get this MAC one for a change and because i know it already works well for me. I really do wish i bought this when it was cheaper as it has gone up in price.. but i will still buy it, eventually :)
This retails for £15.00 (MAC official website)

7.Mac blusher in 'Pink Swoon' is my 7th choice. This blusher is literally beautiful. I really love my bright blushers and this one really is so pigmented and vibrate in colour. I've tried this out at a MAC store but unfortunately i didn't get it.. i wish i did. It's such a gorgeous bright pink that would last me for YEARS. As because it's so pigmented you'd only need the smallest bit. I first came across this blusher on Leannewoodfull on YouTube (check her out if you haven't!) And because she's pale like me i believed her opinion and i trusted her thoughts on it, which really persuaded me to give it a go, as i said previously i didn't actually end up buying it but i really, truly wish i did. It's gorgeous!
This retails for £18.00 (MAC official website)

8.The 8th product is another foundation. It's the MAC face and body foundation. I don't really tend to go for heavy coverage foundation, i prefer lightweight and i think this foundation fits that category nicely. I want to try this as i've never tried a water based foundation; meaning that its very watery. I think this foundation would be perfect for the hot weather months as it's light and it'll be like nothing is on your face, as i'm someone that can never leave the house without foundation. I do think this would be perfect for summer especially. I was persuaded even more to buy this foundation from Gracie (Uglyfaceofbeauty) because her review and opinions made me make up my mind. I will buy this foundation soon (Christmas time hopefully!)
This retails for £21.50- 50 ml & £27.00- 120 ml (MAC official website)

9.I feel like most of these products are MAC haha. but the 9th product is the solo eyeshadow in 'charcoal brown' i want this eyeshadow as a single shadow not in a pan because i want to use this colour for my eyebrows. I've seen Zoe (Zoella) and Tanya (Tanya Burr) use this colour for their eyebrows and it looks amazing. I'm currently using 'Brun' and i think that's a bit too dark and this colour looks perfect.
This retails for £12.50 (MAC official website)

10. Last but not least, i'd really love to buy the MAC mineralize skinfinish natural. There's not too much to say about this one, but i really want to invest into a good powder as i've heard this powder really does last a long time and is worth the money. I don't like powder in general because i have dry skin But I've heard this powder is different from others, that it doesn't cake or flake and is a nice powder to use.
This retails for £22.00 (MAC official website)

I hope this post was interesting to any of you and i hope you enjoyed reading!
Thankyou very much!

Introduction to 'Sally's Little World'

What exactly is 'Sally's Little World'??

Ever since i was a little girl I've had a major passion for makeup and anything beauty related. Leading on from that, when i was about 12 i found the 'world of beauty' on YouTube and since then my passion for makeup had increased and my life changed (a bit dramatic i know, haha.)
When i turned 13, i said to myself that i'll one day create a YouTube channel and start beauty related videos. I once made a video when i was 14 but i took it down straight away as i was terrified that people from my school would find it. But now i'm 16 i've come to realise that people's opinions don't matter. If i want to do something, i will. So I made my first YouTube video called 'What's in my makeup bag' and i LOVED it. I loved filming it and the whole thing was pretty excited, but after about 3 days i put the video on private. I put it on private because i wasn't entirely happy with it and i realised if i were to make videos, i didn't want them to be crappy, quick, non edited videos. I wanted them to be good. The following week i made another video called 'Small Primark Haul' and again, i really enjoyed filming that but i'm still not completely happy with it.
So this is where this blog comes in,
I'm making this blog so i can continue talking about things i love and i can be happy with how i present it. My main issue with making videos on YouTube was that i didn't have a good enough camera (i was filming on my phone) So i think it'll be best to make this blog as good as i can and i can take slow steps into making my YouTube account better.
I was struggling with coming up with a title and URL for this blog, but i suddenly thought 'Sally's little world' i thought it was unique and accurate to me. 'Sally's little world' is meaning, my thoughts and ideas on makeup is in a bubble, a bubble which is in fact, my world. My family around me has never understood my passion for makeup so that is why i thought it was appropriate to call this 'my world'.
I'm SO very excited to be doing this blog and now that I've left school i can really focus on this and not have any distractions (although i start college in September) But this blog is going to be mine and i can make it what i like, and i can write about the things that my family never understood and really didn't care about, makeup.

But i won't be just posting about makeup. i will post about other things such as, hauls and monthly favourites!
I hope you will enjoy reading my blog!

Thankyou!!
xx

Room Decoration Haul

Hello!

So last week i was on holiday and when i was away i done some shopping, i went to Primark  (which i've done a video on) and i also got some bits for my room from random little shops across the different towns that we visited. I thought it would be fun to make a post on it instead of filming a video for YouTube.
I love to buy anything for my room, i love anything cute, girly, floral and heart related.

Left- White heart from Primark and was only £1.50! (I've also spotted this exact one in £land!)

Right- White framed heart with blue ribbon from pound stretchers! and was around £2!

I love both, and both would look so cute around my room! i will never have too many hearts haha.

Both of these items were from the same shop, unfortunately i have no idea what the shop was called and where else you would find one but the little shop was perfect!

Blue heart cushion- Down from £5.99 to only £3.99! they also had it in purple.

Heart with cupcake on it- This was only £1.99 which i found incredibly cheap!
I also bought this place mat! How gorgeous!
I used to have a dolphin place mat on my desk but i'm not 10 anymore haha. So i wanted to find a new one, and this one i fell in love with straight away! IT'S FULL OF CAKES! what could be better?
I got it from a little shop, but i do see these place mats everywhere but it was the first time i saw this design. and it was only £2!

The next 2 things are slightly more expensive but i still love them SO much. (hense why i bought them)

Left- The little love sign was £2.50 which is expensive for what it is, but i loved it and i had to have it so i didn't really care about the price.

Right- the blue heart is actually scented, it smells of lavender which really persuaded me to buy it...it was £2 which i normally wouldn't spend that on a very small heart but i loved it and i couldn't leave without it. :)

This is probably my favourite out of all the things that i bought.
this cute little vintage tin was something i couldn't leave without.

It was £3.75 and i LOVE it. I wish i got another one :)

This is my last item of the haul. And this is probably the biggest bargain yet.
this adorable little blue framed heart with love written across, was from poundworld. Yep. this was ONE SINGLE POUND. Can you believe it? cause i can't. hahaha.
I thought this would look cute pined on my wall, then i could dangle earrings from the edging. :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this little haul on here as much as i enjoyed purchasing the items and writing about them after! ahha :)
Thankyou very much!
